Safe-Guard® 0.5% is a crumbilized dewormer containing fenbendazole for controlling gastrointestinal roundworms in dairy cattle, beef cattle and horses.
Controls Major Worms
Internal parasites in cattle can produce severe health and economic losses due to damage to the intestinal lining. This damage results in scar tissue formation and reduced nutrient absorption. These worms also remove large quantities of blood predisposing cattle to anemic conditions, disease and reduced performance.
Safe-Guard 0.5% is indicated for the removal and control of mature gastrointestinal nematodes.
- Lungworm: (Dictyocaulus viviparous)
- Barberpole worms (Haemonchus contortus)
- Brown stomach worms (Ostertagia ostertagi)
- Small stomach worms (Trichostrongylus axei)
- Hookworms (Bunostomum phlebotomum)
- Thread-necked intestinal worms (Nematodirus helvetianus)
- Small intestinal worms (Cooperia punctata and Cooperia oncophora)
- Bankrupt worms (Trichostrongylus colubriformis)
- Nodular worms (Oesophogostomum radiatum)
