Homestead 14% Creep Feed NAB NAP is formulated to provide optimum calf growth which adds more pounds to your calves at the time of weaning. Homestead 14% Creep Feed NAB NAP is also a high quality feed that allows for efficient feed conversions which can decrease your cost of gain.

Protein
Protein is required by rumen microorganisms and for muscle growth. Homestead 14% Creep Feed is formulated with a combination of protein sources to provide rumen-available and bypass protein. Homestead 14% Creep Feed NAB NAP does not contain non-protein nitrogen sources.
Zinc Proteinate
Organic zinc is widely recognized for its effect on hoof integrity and is used to help reduce foot problems in cattle.
Iodine
Homestead 14% Creep Feed NAB NAP contains an organic form of iodine (EDDI) shown to support hoof health.
Yeast
Yeast Culture Concentrate is included in the Homestead 14% Creep Feed NAB NAP to promote feed intake and feed conversion.
Selenium Yeast
Selenium is added in its natural form. It contains the same range of selenocompounds present in plants — the forms animals are best able to absorb, store, and utilize. Cattle need selenium for disease defense.
Vitamin E
Formulated with Vitamin E to promote an increased shelf life of processed meat product and optimize immune response.
AQS (Alltech Quality System)
We will also maintain quality princicples through our parent company's quality program called AQS (Alltech Quality System), which is subject to internal auditing for compliance.
Through FDA's Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), we maintain the same principles as a HACCP program, which are subject to audits by the FDA. This ensures consistency that products are made the same way every time and according to quality standards.

Digestible Fiber
Fiber stimulates rumination activity, slows ruminal fermentation rate and helps prevent digestive disturbances such as bloat and acidosis. High grain creeps decrease the efficiency of forage utilization and support inefficient weight gain. Homestead 14% Creep Feed NAB NAP is formulated with digestible fiber providing a large portion of the energy. Fiber is digested more slowly than grain and can enhance forage utilization.
Good Start in the Feedlot
A high level of feed intake soon after calves enter the feedlot is the key to getting them off to a good start and reducing sickness. Calves accustomed to eating pelleted feed before weaning are more likely to consume an adequate level of their receiving ration.

Homestead 14% Creep Feed NAB NAP is formulated for calves from birth to weaning. It is recommended to be fed free-choice to suckling calves utilizing a creep feeder. Calves will typically consume 0.75% to 1.5% of their body weight daily. Over consumption (greater than 2.0% of body weight) may result in digestive disorders. For best results never allow creep feeders to become empty. Remove spoiled feed regularly. Feed plain, white salt free-choice.
This product, which contains added copper, should not be fed to sheep or related species that have a low tolerance to copper. This product has been formulated specifically for beef cattle and is not intended for other species.
Hubbard does not use "Restricted Use Proteins" in their products and is in compliance with FDA and state requirements regarding the use, handling and storage of "Restricted Use Proteins" products.
