Select Plus PR 32 and 40 are formulated with Programmed Release and are specifically designed to provide supplemental protein, vitamins and minerals for beef and dairy cattle to improve overall growth, condition and performance. They can be fed free-choice, from lick wheel feeders and are ideal for range or pasture feeding operations.
Select Plus PR 32 and 40 are a convenient, economical means of supplementing your cow/calf herd. Select Plus PR 32 and 40 can help you have a more uniform cow herd and heavier weaning weights on your calves. Even the timid cows that typically do not get their fair share have equal access to Select Plus PR 32 and 40. This means more bred cows that can have earlier calves, heavier average weaning weights and fewer good cows culled each year.
Programmed Release (PR)
A unique manufacturing process involving utilization of economical non-protein nitrogen in Select PR 32 and 40. By slowing the release of ammonia from urea in the rumen, Programmed Release allows rumen bacteria additional time to convert more ammonia into bacterial protein for use by the animal.

- Mix with grain mixes up to 20% or mix with total mixed rations at the rate of 5 to 15%.
- Feed as part of a complete ration or top-dressed.
- Select Plus PR Liquid Supplements can be fed to beef (weaned animals on pasture and mature beef cows) and dairy (non-lactating dairy cattle, growing heifers, bulls, and dairy beef) on all-roughage, low-energy rations.
- For free-choice lick wheel feeding, the following precautions must be observed:
- Provide unlimited drinking water.
- This product is a supplement. Adequate roughage, both in quantity and quality, must be available at all times.
- Grain should be fed as necessary.
- Animals must have consumed other feed prior to being given Select Plus PR Liquid Feed Supplements for the first time. Do not provide hungry animals free access to Select Plus PR Liquid Feed Supplements.
- If animals are not fed Select Plus PR Liquid Feed Supplements for 48 hours, observe animals closely for three days to prevent over-consumption.
- Provide a free-choice mineral supplement containing adequate levels of calcium, phosphorus, salt, and trace minerals.
- Lick tanks must be intact so that animals can consume the correct amount of product from the lick wheel. Loose or damaged tank lids, open lick wheel holes, and leaks must be repaired before animals are allowed access to lick tanks.
This product, which contains added copper, should not be fed to sheep or related species that have a low tolerance level to copper.
This product has been formulated specifically for cattle and is not intended for other species.
Hubbard does not use “Restricted Use Proteins” in their products and is in compliance with FDA and state requirements regarding the use, handling, and storage of “Restricted Use Proteins” products.
