The Tradition^® Game Bird Program encourages growth and performance in game bird species including Pheasants, Quail, Peafowl and Chukars. Optimally fortified for excellent growth and performance, each formula addresses the bird’s needs for balanced nutrition at each stage of development.

Pheasant Program
The program consists of four formulas (Starter, Grower, Breeder and Flight) to meet all the nutritional requirements for pheasants. Those wishing to produce a body composition for the restaurant market will use only the first two formulas. All formulas are specifically formulated with the correct energy to amino acid ratios to produce desired body composition. Each formula differs in the amount of protein, minimum lysine and minimum methionine+cysteine. We also include a direct-fed microbial, in all of our pheasant feeds. This product is a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganism to aid in nutrient utilization and overall health of the pheasant.

Quail Program
This program includes starter, grower, breeder and flight formulas. Those wishing to produce a body composition for the restaurant market will use the starter and grower formulas. The starter formula for both pheasants and quail is pelleted using a 1/8 inch die and then crumbled to reduce the particle size.
